We use sawdust that arises as a by-product of timber processing for production. Thus, no trees are cut down for VOSTOK pellets. On the contrary, the more of our pellets you use, the more trees remain saved.
Thus, during the operation of VOSTOK, we have saved more than 73,400 trees.
All refining of sawdust and processing is done using 100% electricity and heat from renewable sources.
